BRAHMOTSAVAM SPECIALCULTURAL PROGRAMMES

 

 

Tirumala, September 17: The chanting of govinda reverberates the slies above Tirumala every day as thousands of devotees descend  on the hill shrine to participate and enjoy the devotional bliss created by the TTD fir the  nine day event of Brahmotsavams.

Bhajan troupes, classical singers, dancers, Kolatam teams, drummers and ballad players perform in front of the Vahanam of Lord Venkateswara on sacred Four Mada streets every day morning and evening through night and seek his blessings.

Nearly 150 teams from all over India have voluntarily come to serve and exhibit their talents during the Brahmotsavams says Sri Prayaga Ramakrishna,the secretary of HIndu Dharma Prachara Parishad.

Propagation of Venkatesha Tatwam and Vaibhavam is the concept of all cultural activities-discourses, dance and music, ballads, folk arts and bhajans, he says as the event kicks off at Tirumala on Wednesday and reach the crescendo on September 20th, Sunday.

He said the HDPP has organized a bevy of cultural programs at Mahati and Annamacharya Kala Mandapam Tirupati and Nada Niranjanam and Asthana Mandapam at Tirumala .”We have invited the cream of  talents,  who will enthrall the pilgrims during Brahmotsavam  with concerts, dance performances, discourses and also vocal and instrumental rendering .

We have a special display teams for the Vahanam processions of Lord Venkateswara at the Four Mada streets. “Each one of the them are  talented, young,bubbly and experts in their art and display their skills in serevice of Lord Venkateswara ” he said .

The TTD has taken special interest in inviting well educated and talented  commentators to spread awareness among devotees sitting in galleries about the lores and grandeur of Lord Venkateswara .’ The objective is to ensure that crowds are enthralled in devotional elixir and the commentaries will  enlighten them abom about the celestial grandeur of Lord Venkateswara “, says the EO Sri Sambashiv Rao.
